At Westcountry Payroll we are a team of dedicated payroll professionals who have all been involved in providing payroll services for many years. As a close knit team working collaboratively, there will always be someone available to deal with your payroll queries and who knows you and your organisation.
Westcountry Payroll is a specialist practice, we exclusively provide payroll services to our clients and are therefore not distracted by other commitments. You can find out a little more about each of the team members below.
Steve joined the team in April 2020 with nearly 20 years’ experience within a payroll outsourcing environment and achieved his CIPP Foundation Diploma in Payroll Management in 2018. Steve is looking forward to guiding his new team at Westcountry Payroll through all their challenges to ensure the business continues to provide a first-class service to our clients. Steve feels the ‘personal touch’ is an important part of providing such a service and looks forward to getting to know our clients better. In his spare time, when he is not with his family, Steve is a keen angler and enjoys spending time on the bank.
Julia comes to Westcountry Payroll with several years’ experience of working in Payroll and purchase ledger, she is looking forward to broadening her horizons in this area.
Out of work Julia enjoys spending time with her family, cycling, walking, spending time in the garden and doing the occasional parkrun. She also loves to visit new places whether at home or abroad.
Dore joined Westcountry Payroll in February 2019, she has previous experience in Ltd company payrolls and bookkeeping. She loves dancing Salsa, helping people by doing Sports Massage and eating in the sunshine whilst drinking coffee.
Magda joined the firm in April 2017, having previously done tax work and Director’s payrolls for a large firm in Exeter. Magda is keen to build on her payroll knowledge and expertise within the bureau. Magda is passionate about travel and horse-riding.

In an announcement on Thursday 5 November 2020, the government is extending the CJRS to support individuals and businesses who are impacted by disruption caused by coronavirus (COVID-19) this winter. We have extracted the subsequent guidance released by HMRC which is published here.
Announced on Friday 9th October is an expansion to The Job Support Scheme to provide temporary support to businesses whose premises have been legally required to close as a direct result of Coronavirus restrictions set by one or more of the four governments of the UK.
